Alejandro Cortés

Ivan Alejandro Cortés Llano ( born December 2, 1977 in Manizales ) is a Colombian cyclist.

Alejandro Cortés began his career in 2001 at the Colombian cycling team 05 Orbitel. In his first year he finished third in the road race in the national championship and he won a stage of the Clásico RCN. In 2003 he won a stage of the Tour of Colombia. He could repeat this success in 2005 after he decided in 2004 a section of the Vuelta de la Paz for themselves. In the 2006 season Cortés was Colombian champion in the road race and he won a stage of the Tour of Colombia and the Clasica Internacional Marco Fidel Suárez. Since 2007, he runs for the Continental team Caico.
