Alejandro González ( born February 7, 1989 in Medellín ) is a Colombian tennis player.

Career

Alejandro González won in March 2013 in the Ecuadorian Salinas his first individual title on the ATP Challenger Tour. In the final he beat Argentina's Renzo Olivo in three sets. Previously, he was already seven singles and six doubles titles on the ITF Futures Tour celebrating and three doubles titles on the ATP Challenger Tour. When ATP tournament in Bogotá, in July 2013, he played for the first time in the highest category of tennis. In the first round he met the Frenchman Adrian Mannarino, he lost to the almost in three sets. Although González clearly won the second set 6-0 to give him the sensation did not succeed. On 28 July 2013, followed by his second title on the Challenger Tour. At the tournament in Medellin he defeated in the final of the Argentine Guido Andreozzi in two sets.
