Aleksandar Vezenkov

Aleksandar " Aleks " Vezenkov (Greek Αλέξανδρος Βεζένκοφ; * August 6, 1995 in Nicosia, Cyprus) is a Bulgarian professional basketball player. The 206 cm and 102 kg man is playing on the position of the Small resp. the power forward for Aris Thessaloniki. It also has the Greek and Cypriot citizenship.

Early career

Vezenkov is known as one of the best European basketball player of his age. In 2005 he joined the Cypriot basketball club APOEL Nicosia. Four years later he moved to Greek club Aris Thessaloniki, where he played until 2011 with the juniors.

Professional career

Vezenkov 2011 began his professional career at Aris Thessaloniki in the Greek league.

Vezenkov played for the Bulgarian U16 and U18 national team, but he took part in these tournaments:
