Aleksander Lasoń

Aleksander Lason ( born November 10, 1951 in Siemianowice Śląskie ) is a Polish composer, pianist and conductor.

Together with the Silesian composer Eugeniusz Knapik and Andrzej Krzanowski Aleksander Lason Generation '51 ( Pokolenie '51 ) has been allocated. Together they celebrated their compositional debut on the music festival Mlodzi Muzycy Młodemu Miastu in Stalowa Wola. They turned in word and sound against the then dominant avant-garde style, such as the sonorism by Krzysztof Penderecki and other composers of the so-called Polish school of composers are attributed. Jason composes both chamber music (7 string ) and orchestral works ( symphonies 4 ), whose performances he often projected himself as a conductor. He lives and works in Katowice.
