Aleksandr Butko

Alexander Butko Anatoljevich (Russian Александр Анатольевич Бутько, English transcription: Alexander Butko, born March 18, 1986 in Hrodna ) is a Russian volleyball player.

Career

Butko began his career in 2001 at the Belarusian club Kommunalnik Hrodna. In 2003, the setter in the Russian league to VK Dynamo Moscow. In the capital, he also played for Luch Moscow, before he went to the UK Iskra Odintsovo. From there he moved to his present club Lokomotiv Novosibirsk VK. With Dynamo Moscow, and Novosibirsk Odintsovo Butko was each runner. In 2009 he gave the world a league game against Cuba his debut in the Russian national team. In 2012 he won the gold medal at the Olympic Games in London.
