Aleksandr Dugin

Alexander Dugin Geljewitsch (Russian Александр Гельевич Дугин, scientific transliteration Aleksandr Dugin Gel'evič; born January 7, 1962 in Moscow ) is a Russian nationalist politician and political scientist, traditionalist and publicist. He propagated the geopolitical concept of a " Neo - Eurasianism " on the basis of standing in opposition to the U.S. Great Russian Empire.

As influences for Dugin's ideology (West) apply European New Right, the Conservative Revolution, the Panrussismus and the esoteric- metaphysical thinking of Rene Guenon and Julius Evola.

Dugin was co-founder in 1994 of the National Bolshevik Party of Russia, and in 2002 the " Eurasian Party." He also leads the organization " Arctogaia " including publishing house connected and has access to the highest governmental and parliamentary circles.
