Aleksei Kruchenykh

Alexei Jelissejewitsch Kruchenykh (Russian Алексей Елисеевич Кручёных; scientific transliteration Aleksej Eliseevič Kruchenykh; * 9 Februarjul / February 21 1886greg in Olevsk province Kherson, Ukraine, .. † June 17, 1968 in Moscow) was a Russian poet of the Silver age and one of the most radical representatives of Futurism and member of the Hylaea group. Together with Vladimir Mayakovsky, David Burliuk and Velimir Khlebnikov 1912 he published the manifesto of a slap in the face to the general taste ( Пощечина общественному вкусу ), which is considered as the manifesto of Russian Futurism. Together with Khlebnikov ( prologue ) and Mikhail Matjuschin (music), for decoration and costume designs by Kazimir Malevich he was one of the authors of the " first futurist opera" Victory over the Sun ( Pobeda nad solnzem ) and wrote the libretto. The key work of Russian and European avant-garde was premiered on December 3, 1913 in Petersburg.

Together with Khlebnikov, he developed the art language check.

Kruchenykh was from 1912 until her untimely death in 1918 married to the painter and poet Olga Rosanowa.
