Olevsk
Olevsk (Ukrainian Олевськ; Russian Олевск ) is a city in the Zhytomyr Oblast in Ukraine with about 11,000 inhabitants (extrapolation 1 January 2005), located in the historic area Ubort Polesia the river. Olevsk is the center of Rajons same name.
History
Olevsk is one of the oldest cities in Volhynia and was founded according to legend, still in the 9th century.
