Korostyshiv

Korostyschiw (Ukrainian Коростишів; Russian Коростышев / Korostyshev ) is a city in the Zhytomyr Oblast in Ukraine with about 26,100 inhabitants (extrapolation 1 January 2005), situated on the river in the historic area Teteriw Polesia.

Korostyschiw is an important center for the promotion and review of high quality Granite in Europe and is divided administratively next to the city in the two villages Bobryk ( Бобрик ) and Tesniwka ( Теснівка ).

History

The status of the city received Korostyschiw in 1938.
