Aleksejs Saramotins

Alexey Saramotins ( born April 8, 1982 in Riga) is a Latvian cyclist.

Alexey Saramotins began his career in 2005 at the Latvian / Swiss Continental Team Rietumu Bank. His first good result was the fifth place at the Tallinn - Tartu Grand Prix in Estonia. A month later, he won the road race in the Latvian road Radmeisterschaftren. The following year he repeated his good placement at the GP Tallinn. He also was among other stage twice second in the Ringerike Grand Prix. The road Cycling World Championships in Salzburg Saramotins was one of three Latvian starters.
