Alessandra Macinghi

Alessandra Macinghi (* 1407, † 1471 ) was an Italian writer.

Alessandra Macinghi, came from a Florentine family. However, their parents died early. She was married to Matteo Strozzi from the Strozzi family, with whom she had Filippo Strozzi together as a son.

From her as a writer, several dozen letters have been preserved, which were published in 1877 by Cesare Guasti. These letters describe the domestic life in Italy in the 15th century, especially the lives of female family members.
