Alessandro Capone

Alessandro Capone ( born July 25, 1955 in Rome ) is an Italian film director and screenwriter.

Life

Capone began his artistic career as a teenage musician and worked as a painter, illustrator, designer and photographer. From 1976 on, he was also interested in the theater and appeared in comedies and revues. In 1979 he wrote his first screenplay; initially he worked several times together with Michele Massimo Tarantini. Ten years later Capone presented his debut film, which he shot in the U.S.. Soon he was working for the television with Extra Large, a series with Bud Spencer and changed in the following years between these two formats.

The work for the theater led Capone also continued: I cavalieri della tavola wrote with rotonda and he directed a highly acclaimed musical comedy. In the new millennium, he worked for detective series again; 2005, he directed Orgoglio, then 33 episodes of Distretto di polizia and 2010 I delitti del cuoco.
