Alessandro Gherardini

Alessandro Gherardini ( born November 16, 1655 in Florence, † 1726 in Livorno ) was an Italian painter.

He was mainly influenced by Paolo Veronese and Luca Giordano.

His main work was the SHapINg of buildings ( churches and palaces in Florence, and later building for the Augustinian and Cistercian Order ). Later worked abroad, for example in the castles of Schleißheim, Bamberg and Aschaffenburg.

Gherardini wide range of topics included mythological, biblical and allegorical subjects.
