Alex Leapai

Alex Leapai ( born October 16, 1979 in Samoa as Elise Leapai ) is an Australian- Samoan boxer in the heavyweight division.

After a rather mixed career start with two defeats and subsequent victories against lesser-known opponents, Alex Leapai won by TKO against Akmal Aslanow by winning the vacant WBO Asia -Pacific belt his first international title in December 2012. On November 23, 2013, he defeated Denis Boizow by a unanimous points decision. Thus he became the WBO mandatory challenger Wladimir Klitschko. The fight will take place in Oberhausen on 26 April 2014.
