Alexandre Raphael Meschini or simply Alex ( born March 25, 1982 in Conélio Procópio ) is a Brazilian footballer. He is known for his safety in penalties and his accurate long shots.

Career

Alex joined in March 2004 for the equivalent of about 500,000 euros of Guarani Internacional, where he signed a four - year contract. From there he was transferred February 2009 for five million euros to Spartak Moscow. His contract runs until December 2013.

National

October 12, 2008 Alex was substituted in the match against Venezuela ( 4-0) in 71 minutes of Kaká. There was only an eight-minute use in a friendly against Portugal ( 6-2 ).
