Alexander Butler
Alexander Charles Butler, also Andre Beaulieu (* 1869 in the United States, † 1959) was an American film director and actor in the British film.
Life
Born in the USA Butler turned in Britain between 1913 (this year created short films ) and 1926 some 70 works, mostly for the producer George Berthold Samuelson, with whom he was staying in his country of birth between December 1919 and April 1920 to the market to explore for their productions. His 1914 film The incurred Shepherd of the Southern Cross was filmed in Australia. His daughter, dancer Gwendolen Tremayne (1909-2012) was born in Twickenham, came as a child ( 1920) even before the film camera and was later one of the famous Tiller Girls. Occasionally Butler was, from 1917 to 1922 under the pseudonym Andre Beaulieu, front of the camera as an actor operates.
