Alexander Henry (Russian Александр Рудольфович Гейнрих, Aleksandr Rudolfowitsch Gejnrich; Uzbek Aleksandr Geynrix; born October 6, 1984 in Angren, Uzbek SSR, Soviet Union) is a Russian- Uzbek football players. The Russia German plays currently with the Kazakh side FK Aktobe and is also active in the national team of Uzbekistan. His name is often given in the West in the spelling of Alexander Geynrikh.

Career

Alexander Henry (then part of the Soviet Union) was born in 1984 in a Russian-German family in Uzbekistan Angren. To play professional football he started from 2001 when FK Dustlik where other Uzbek player, such as Vyacheslav Ponamarjow or Schafar Irismetow started with the professional football.

From there, Heinrich already changed a year later to the famous Club Pachtakor Tashkent. In 2002, it brought the striker there on 23 missions and 9 goals and was first used in the Uzbek national team. In the same year he was also elected Uzbek footballer of the year. Finally, the PFK CSKA Moscow became aware of Henry and signed him the following year. When CSKA Henry but never was able to show off, he came to a total of only two appearances in the first team and was otherwise mostly used in the second team. In 2005, he briefly returned to his old club Pachtakor, where he rose to 5 goals in 12 missions.

In the same year Henry was obliged but Torpedo Moscow. In jersey Torpedo Heinrich came to 21 appearances, but could not score a goal. In 2007 he returned again to Pachtakor Tashkent, where he was employed until 2011 in 73 games ( 39 goals). In early 2011 he was finally hired for a year at the Korean team Suwon Samsung Bluewings, where he has been used 13 times. Henry then moved in 2012 to the Emirates Club in Ras al - Khaimah. But for the club from the United Arab Emirates, he completed only six games until he was obliged by the Kazakh side FK Aktobe.

With the Uzbek national team, he has played more (as of June 2012) a total of 72 games in which he scored 26 goals.
