Alexander Raake

Raake Alexander ( * 1971 in Dusseldorf ) directs since 2009 as associate professor the Subject " Assessment of IP -based Applications" at Telekom Innovation Laboratories at the Technical University of Berlin.

Between 1991 and 1997 he studied electrical engineering at the RWTH Aachen and the Télécom ParisTech ( ENST ), where he studied already as a research assistant as part of his PhD at the Institute of Communication Acoustics, Ruhr- University Bochum, the speech quality in voice communication using VoIP ( " Voice over Internet Protocol " ). 2004 and 2005, he was then in Orsay, France, where he developed methods for measuring and modeling of speech intelligibility in virtual chat rooms. From 2005 he worked as a Senior Scientist at Telekom Innovation Laboratories in Berlin.
