Alexandra Lamy

Alexandra Lamy Paulette Mathilde ( born October 14, 1971 in Alès, Gard ) is a French film and theater actress.

Life

From 1990 Alexandra Lamy took lessons at the Conservatory of Nîmes and the Paris drama school Cours Florent. After that, they first appeared in the theater. Her first film role was in 1995 in a television commercial by Patrice Leconte. She became well known in France by the French adaptation of the Canadian sitcom Un gars, une fille. Lamy and Jean Dujardin played in the pair Alexandra ( Chouchou ) and Jean ( Loulou ) in scenes of everyday life. From Un gars, une fille a total of 486 episodes were broadcast between 1999 and 2003 on France 2.

2002 Lamy was s'aime along with Steeve de Paz and Jean Dujardin entitled C'est aussi pour ça qu'on ...! represented in the French and Belgian charts. In addition to her film appearances, she continued to play theater, including the Théâtre de Paris. It also works as a voice actor, among other things, it is the French voice of Rose McGowan.

Private life

Lamy's sister is actress and comedienne Audrey Lamy. From a relationship with the Swiss actor Thomas Jouannet Alexandra Lamy has a daughter (* 1997). From 2003 to 2013 Lamy was with Jean Dujardin, her fellow actors from the series Un gars, une fille, romantically involved. 25 July 2009 Lamy and Dujardin married in Anduze. In November 2013, the separation of Jean Dujardin took place. Lamy currently lives with her daughter in London.
