Alexandria Museum of Art

The Alexandria Museum of Art is a 1977 -built art museum in the city of Alexandria in the U.S. state of Louisiana.

After a temporary closure and modernization, it was reopened in 1998.

The museum has an extensive collection of contemporary art from Louisiana, and includes the largest collection of Folk Art from the north of the state.
