Alexei Petrovich Rastworzew (Russian Алексей Петрович Растворцев; born August 8, 1978 in Belgorod, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union ) is a Russian handball player. He is 2.00 m tall.

Alexei Rastworzew, which for the Russian club Medwedi Chekhov ( shirt number 14) and plays for the Russian national handball team ( shirt number 15) runs, is usually used on the rear space left.

Rastworzew began in the Children's and Youth Sports School and in 1989 at the local handball club in Belgorod with the handball game. In 1995 he started at Energiya Voronezh and then moved to Medwedi Chekhov 2003. With the men from the 150,000 - inhabitant city in Moscow Oblast, he won five times from 2004 to 2008 the Russian Championship and 2005/2006 Europe Cup Winners' Cup. Despite repeated interest of European top clubs he stayed with Medwedi Chekhov.

Alexei Rastworzew has been disputed over 250 caps for the Russian national team and thrown over 890 goals in the process. In 2003, he was top scorer in the national team.
