Alexis Copello

Alexis Copello (born 12 August 1985) is a Cuban triple jumper.

He participated in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing in part, but missed having a width of 17.09 m the finals scarce.

In March 2009 he improved his personal best to 17.62 m and initially sat down with it in the meantime the head of the world's annual leaderboard. In May, he managed an even further leap to 17.65 m, so that he traveled all as a medal contender at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin in 2009. After five attempts in the final he was on the sixth. In the last test but he succeeded yet, with a distance of 17.36 m displace Leevan Sands from third place and thus to secure the bronze medal behind Phillips Idowu and Nelson Évora. At the World Athletics Championships 2011 in Daegu, he was with 17,47 m fourth.

Alexis Copello has a competition weight of 80 kg at a height of 1.85 m.
