Alf Clausen

Alf Clausen ( born March 28, 1941 in Minneapolis, Minnesota) is an American composer who is particularly known for his compositions for television series.

Alf Clausen studied music at North Dakota State University, the University of Wisconsin and at the Boston Berklee College of Music.

He wrote, inter alia, the music for the TV series The Moonlighting, The Simpsons and Alf.

Clausen won the 1997 and 1998 Emmy ( for The Simpsons ) and a total of twenty-eight more times was nominated for this award ( including six times for The Moonlighting, twenty-one for The Simpsons ).
