Alf Rolfsen

Alf Rolfsen ( born January 28, 1895 in Kristiania, † November 10, 1979 in Oslo) was a Norwegian painter who mainly devoted to the fresco. His main work, the frescoes are in Oslo new crematorium.

Rolfsen studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, but was throughout his life principally in Norway operates. He wrote some of the frescoes in the Oslo City Hall. Rolfsen 1971 received the honorary prize of the Norwegian Cultural Council.
