Alfons Novickis

Alfons Novickis (* 1906 in Riga, † November 3, 1931 ) was a Latvian national football team.

Novickis, who was active as a midfielder, began his career at LNJS Riga. From there he moved to FK Riga and later to Riga Vanderer. Between 1929 and 1931 he completed nine caps for the national team of Latvia. On November 3, 1931, he committed suicide because he was suffering from a severe drinking problem.
