Alfonso Portugal

Portugal Alfonso Díaz ( born January 21, 1934 in Mexico City) is a former Mexican football player who acted in defense and defensive midfield.

Association

Alfonso Portugal began his professional career at Club Necaxa, for which he already played in the 1955/56 season. After the 1957/58 season he left Necaxa and moved to second division CD allegedly Poza Rica, before he was 65 at the start of season 1959/60 until at least the end of the season 1964 / when Club América under contract. After that he played for UNAM Pumas, where he was at least in the season 1966/67, under contract.

National

His debut in the Mexican national was Portugal on March 4, 1956 in a game against Peru, which was lost with 0:2.
