Alfred Andriola

Alfred Andriola ( born May 24, 1912 in New York City; † 29 March 1983) was an American comic book artist.

Andriola, who studied at the Cooper Union and Columbia University wanted to be a writer, originally. Instead, he became the secretary and assistant in the studio of Noel Sickles and Milton Caniff supported at work on Terry and the Pirates. From 1938 he was for four years the Strip Charlie Chan, a film adaptation. As an example of the Charlie Chan actor Warner Oland served. Andriola recorded after a few episodes of the superhero Captain Triumph and Dan Dunn. From 1943, followed to the texts of Allen Saunders of TripAdvisor Detective Kerry Drake, his most famous work. The strip was adjusted with Andriolas death in 1983.
