Alfred Lücker

Alfred Lucker ( born March 29, 1931 † 22 December 2008) was a German hockey player, who participated in two Olympic Games and won a bronze medal.

Lücker played for Etuf food. In 1952, he debuted in the German national hockey team. At the 1952 Olympics the team retired in the quarterfinals against the later Olympic Second from the Netherlands, where Lucker has not been used as a second goalie in this game. Four years later reached the German team with Lücker as a goalkeeper at the Olympic Games in Melbourne, the semi-finals, where the team defeated the Indian team; in the match for the bronze Germans won 3-1 against the British. Overall Lücker worked from 1952 to 1960 in 27 countries playing with.

Lücker remained active even after the end of his career and played in Essen at the old masters. Later, he worked for five years as chairman of the hockey squad within its ordinary association.
