Alfredo Pián

Alfredo Pian ( born October 21, 1912 in Las Rosas, † 25 July 1990) was an Argentine racing driver.

Shortly after the Second World War Pian began to drive in his home race car. He was involved in the Argentine Formula Libre and went touring car races. Until 1955, he competed regularly the Formula Libre race in Buenos Aires - 1955 on a Maserati A6GCM - which was held as part of the Grand Prix of Argentina.

In 1950 he appeared for the Monaco Grand Prix with a Maserati 4CLT Scuderia Achille Varzi on the team. During the Saturday training, he was thrown against the railing with his car when he slipped on an oil slick. He was thrown from the cockpit and hurt his leg. In the race for the Grand Prix of Monaco, as well as in other races in Formula 1, he did not participate.
