Alibre Design

Alibre / Geomagic Design is a 3D CAD program for accurate drawings. Manufacturer, the software company Alibre Inc. USA. The CAD program for design engineers and draftsman different application areas is available in three versions: Personal (PE), Professional ( PRO) and Expert ( EXP). It provides parametric as well as free designing in 3D. The 3D core is based on the ASIC Modeler from Spatial Corp.. , The constraint solver on the components of D -Cubed. Alibre Design is a newly programmed CAD system and has 3D solid modeling capabilities, associative 2D drafting and detail derivation, BOM generation, Library Manager, kinematic motion analysis, 3D Motion, exploded views, MoI 3D NURBS -based free-form surfaces, data sharing and management, is easy to learn and use. Alibre Design is available in 14 languages ​​and used worldwide.

CAD versions

Alibre / Geomagic design is available in three version levels for different request or user profiles:

Cubify Design (PE )

Range of functions, personnel version of the hobby and beginner's area is suitable. The design of components and assemblies are limited in size and scope only by the memory of the PC. The continuous model structure consisting of geometry and processing steps, may at any time be changed and is always connected with the associative model in the hierarchical design Explorer. Alibre / Geomagic Design Elements (PRO)

In addition to the PE version, the PRO version is used wherever advanced CAD functions are required. Alibre / Geomagic Design (EXP)

Additionally, the EXP version includes Motion, free-form surfaces, sheet metal processing, direct modeling, Translate and package design configurations as well as an integrated document management (EDM / PDM / ECM) of M-Files.

Adaptation

AlibreCAM is no longer an integral part of Alibre Design Expert since 2012. However, it is available as a separate module from the company MecSoft Corporation.
