Alla Dzhioyeva

Alla Alexandrovna Dschiojewa (Russian Алла Александровна Джиоева, Ossetian Джиоты Алыксандыры чызг Аллæ / Džioty Alyksandyry čyzg Allæ; born August 23, 1949 in Staliniri ( Tskhinvali ), Georgian SSR, Soviet Union) is a South Ossetian politician.

She was from 2002 to 2008 Minister of Education of the Republic of South Ossetia and stepped on to the 2011 presidential elections.

Life

Dschiojewa closed 1966 School Number 5 in Tskhinvali from. Even before graduation, she worked at Jugoossetplodowoschtsch ( South Ossetian fruit and vegetable processing plant ). In 1967 she began studying at the South Ossetian Pedagogical Institute, later they moved to the State University of Odessa. There she studied at the Faculty of Philology. She graduated in 1974.

After university she worked in the No. 2 Middle School in Tskhinvali as a teacher of Russian and literature. Later, she became director of the school.

From 2002 to 2008 she was Minister of Education of Georgia cleaved, internationally unrecognized Republic of South Ossetia. After a criminal case against them had been opened, she was dismissed from office. There followed a sentence of two years and two months probation and a fine of 120,000 rubles. Indictment and judgment to have been politically motivated.

In 2011, she went to the presidential election, and sat down, according to data published by the Electoral Commission, in the second round clearly against the candidate supported by Russia Anatoly Bibilow by. Their victory against the will of the rulers of South Ossetia as Russia was considered a surprise. On 29 November 2011, the Supreme Court of South Ossetia declared the election results invalid and ordered a repeat of the election, was excluded from the Alla Dschiojewa.

Dschiojewa is married and has two children.
