Allan Stratton

Allan Stratton ( born 1951 in Stratford, Ontario) is a Canadian actor and writer.

Life and work

Allan Stratton began his theater career as an actor, later he wrote themselves successful pieces. What no one talks about is his second novel for young people. For this book he researched several months in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana, in close contact with local projects for AIDS prevention and care of HIV -infected persons and AIDS patients. The novel received several awards, including the "Children's Africana Book Award ," which distinguishes five more balanced and authentic children 's books about Africa annually.

Today he lives according to various intermediate stations in North America and Europe, in Toronto.
