Allen Van
Alfred Van Allen ( born March 30, 1915 in Newport, Minnesota, † August 27 1995 in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota ) was an American professional ice hockey player.
Career
Van Allen attended the University of Minnesota, for their hockey team he played parallel to his studies. He then spent a long career in amateur hockey.
Internationally
For the U.S., Van participated in the Olympic Winter Games in 1952 in part in Oslo, where he won the silver medal with his team.
