Alliance for the Great Change

Alianza por el Gran Cambio ( German: Alliance for the Great Shift ) is a coalition of conservative parties in Peru to support at the 2011 elections the presidential candidacy of liberal economist Pedro Pablo Kuczynski ( " PPK ").

Involved parties are the Christian Democratic and conservative Partido Popular Cristiano (PPC ), the Alianza para el Progreso, the evangelical value conservative party Restauración Nacional, and the center-left Partido positioned Humanista Peruano (PHP).

Kuczynski could - according to a very focused on his person election campaign - in the first round of the presidential election on April 10, 2011 win 18.51 % of the vote, but resigned in third place out.

In the elections to the Congress on the same day, the alliance won 14.42 % of the vote and can occupy 12 of the 130 seats in the new Congress. To the Andean Parliament, the Alliance for 13.94 % of the vote, appoint one of the five Peruvian representatives.
