Almanon (crater)

Almanon is an impact crater on the moon southeastern front. It is located southeast of the crater Abulfeda and northeast of donors. East of it runs the Catena Abulfeda. The rim is heavily eroded.

The crater was named in 1935 by the IAU by the Persian astronomer Abdalla Al Mamun ( 786-833 ).
