Almotriptan is a drug which is used in the acute treatment of migraine. It is a serotonin agonist from the group of triptans. Almotriptan comes from the Spanish pharmaceutical company Almirall and is now in Germany ( prescription ) and distributed in Switzerland by Almirall GmbH under the trade name Almogran and Dolortriptan.
