Aloha

Aloha is a word the Hawaiian language, which has become well known far beyond the original space.

In general, using

It is "charity" or " compassion " mostly translated as " love", " affection ". It is used in Hawaii as a greeting when coming and going. The word has now found throughout the United States and occasionally in Europe as a greeting using. In particular, the television series Hawaii Five-O, Elvis in the movie Blue Hawaii and later Magnum contributed to this popularization.

The Aloha Spirit, so the alleged kindness and hospitality of the Hawaiians, was the inspiration for the official nickname of Hawaii, The Aloha State. The Aloha Tower is the landmark of Honolulu, Aloha Stadium in the city is the largest sports facility in Hawaii. Aloha means after a volksetymologischen explanation of the last queen of Hawaii, Liliuokalani: " In the face of the breath of God are " his mutatis mutandis filled with the Spirit of God or got breathed his breath of life. ( in the true sense of the word is the syllable alo, however, for " in the presence of ", and the syllable ha " breath of life ." So, it implies that the interlocutor of the presence of God are aware. Thus, it is much more than a simple greeting or a simple adoption. )
