Alois Albert

Alois Albert ( born June 21, 1880 in Königshofen in grave field, † December 16, 1939 same place ) was a German politician ( BVP ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school and continuation school in the years 1887 to 1897 Albert was trained in agriculture. The profession of a farmer, he held at least until 1928. In 1904 he married.

From 1915 to 1918, Albert attended the 5th Reserve Infantry Regiment in the First World War, in which he was wounded on 23 November 1916. After the war he became involved in the Christian Farmers Association Lower Franconia, in which he received in 1920 the post of district chairman.

In the 1920s, Albert joined the Bavarian People's Party ( BVP ). In the general election of May 1928, he was chosen for this in the Reichstag, in which he of September 1930 the constituency represented 26 (Franconia) until the election. Since 1924 he was a member of the City Council of King Mayrhofen in grave field.
