Alois Liška

Alois Liska ( born November 20, 1895 in Zaborci, today part of Mala Skala, † February 7, 1977 in London), was a Czech general, commander of the Czechoslovak independent armored brigade in the Second World War.

Life

In 1915 Alois Liska made ​​his military service in the Austrian army. In 1916, he ran over to the Russian army. He was interned until he could enter the Formative to Czechoslovak Legion. He returned to Czechoslovakia in the autumn of 1920 with the last transport of the Russian Legion. As a professional soldier, he served with the 51st Artillery Battalion in Stara Boleslav, where he was promoted to commander Plukovník and this association was.
