Alor Strait

Geographical location

The Strait of Alor is a strait in the Lesser Sunda Islands. It separates the island Lembata ( Solorarchipel ) in the west of the island pantar ( Alorarchipel ) in the east. At the same time the road from Alor connects the Banda Sea in the north to the Savu Sea in the south. Some small islands are located between the two big in the strait.

Politically, the region is part of the Indonesian province of East Nusa Tenggara.
