Alpenglow

The Alpenglow refers to the special effect that the scattered light of the sunset and aufgangs in the mountains. The rocky slopes and snowfields reflect the nature of this light red while the foreground is already or still in the dark. The evening alpenglow is amplified by the purple border of the counter dusk when rising in the east after sunset the Erdschattenbogen.
