Alpgundkopf

Alpgundkopf from the Warmatsgundtal

The Alpgundkopf is a 2177 m high mountain in the Allgäu Alps. He is in the group of Schafalpenköpfe northeast of the Roßgundkopf, from which it is separated by the Alpgundscharte. In the southeast lie the 383 meters distant, low Alpkopf and 1035 meters away, small Guggersee.

Ascent

On the Alpgundkopf leads no marked path. You can reach it without displacement of the Alpgundscharte, this increase requires sure-footedness and mountain experience. All other increases are not recommended because of the brittle rock.
