Alpha Equulei

Kitalpha, also Kitalphar (Arabic قطعة الفرس, DMG QIT ʿ at al - faras, part of the Horse ') is the proper name of the star α Equulei ( Alpha Equulei ). Kitalpha belongs to the spectral class G0III and has a brightness of 3.95 mag. The spectroscopic binary star is about 186 light-years away from Earth ( Hipparcos database).
