Alpha Trianguli

Trianguli α (alpha Trianguli, Tri α ) is a star of spectral type F6 with an apparent brightness of 3.4 mag in the constellation Triangulum. He is 63 light- years away from Earth.

The star bears the historical proper names Metallah, Elmuthalleth or Mothallah ( from Arabic رأس المثلث, DMG ra ʾ s al - muṯallaṯ, apex of the triangle ') and Caput Trianguli (Latin for " head of the triangle ").
