Alpujarra Almeriense

The Comarca Alpujarra almeriense is one of the 7 Comarcas in the province of Almería. It was, like all Comarcas in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, furnished with effect from 28 March 2003.

The comarca includes 22 municipalities with 15,368 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013), ie 2% of the province 's population.
