Alser Straße (Vienna U-Bahn)

The station Alserstraße is an above-ground station of the Vienna U -Bahn line U6 in Vienna's 9th district Alsergrund. It is named after the immured in the 19th century Viennese forest stream as designated Alserstraße. The elevated station extends along the Hernalser belt between the Kinderspitalgasse in the south and Lazarettgasse in the north.
