Old Comrades is the title of a military march (Army March II, 150).

The march was about 1889 Old Comrades composed by the military musician Carl Teike in Ulm. Supposedly the superior conductor have his subordinates Teike then said after handing over the notes:

" Marches we have enough. The times you throw in the oven! "

The march was not burned, but became one of the most popular and most played German military marches. Even abroad, enjoys great popularity of the march; even immediately after the Second World War, when playing German marches abroad largely remained, he was still listed there too often.
