Alyssa Diaz

Alyssa Elaine Diaz ( born September 7, 1985 in Northridge, California) is an American actress. Since 2012, she is seen as Gloria Cruz in the Lifetime series Army Wives.

Life and career

Alyssa Diaz was born in Northridge, near the city of Los Angeles. Their ancestors are Colombian and Mexican descent. In addition, she has a brother. She attended Bishop Alemany High School.

After Diaz had graduated in 2001, her acting debut in an episode of The Brothers Garcia, she was in a 2004 episode of CSI: Miami to see. Her first major role was that of Celia Ortega on the soap opera Young and Passionate - How Funny People of CBS, which she played from February 9 to 10 August 2005. After a further guest appearances on series like The Unit - A Few Good Men, CSI: NY, Southland, and Lie to Me was followed by the role of Jasmine in The Nine Lives of Chloe King, as well as an appearance in Law & Order 2011: LA. 2012 Diaz was both in an episode of Dr. Dani Santino - to see the game of life and revolution as well as in the film Red Dawn. In addition, she was in four episodes of The Vampire Diaries as a guest. Between 2012 and 2013 she appeared in a leading role in Army Wives.
