Amarok (wolf)

Amarok is the name of a gigantic wolf in Inuit mythology. He is said to chase and devour anyone who was foolish enough to go alone to hunt at night. Unlike real wolves who hunt in packs, Amarok is always alone. It is believed that Amarok could be identical to the Waheela of cryptozoology.
