The Ambu A / S is a Danish medical device company that, among other things in the U.S., Scandinavia, Italy, France, Spain, the UK and Germany in Bad Nauheim has sales offices.

Ambus historic milestone was the invention of the BVM 1954 by Danish anesthetist Henning Ruben and the German engineer Holger Hesse. Ambu develops in addition to products for the ventilation ( face masks, laryngeal masks, PEEP valves, Lifekey ) also products used in cardiology.
